Installing Jigsaw Puzzle Creator
 

Hello:

I am having problems installing the trial version of Jigsaw Puzzle Creator. I get a popup box that states Corel Draw is not installed or Visual Basic is not installed or the installation is damaged. Corel Draw is installed and so is Visual Basic. I re-downloaded Jigsaw Creator and I still get the popup box. Please help me. Thank you

What version of CorelDRAW do you have? Jigsaw Puzzle Creator is designed to work with CorelDRAW 11 only and will not run with any other version.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have Corel Draw 11.693. I had to install Corel Draw on my D drive. Does that make a difference? Thank you!

No, it shouldn't make any difference. Try running CorelDRAW setup and select "Repair installation". Hopefully it will rectify the problem.

I ran the setup program to repair the installation of Corel Draw 11 and it did not rectify the problem.

I even re-downloaded the Creator and I still get that message. Can you give me some things to try? Thank you!

Ok, do you have a retail version of CorelDRAW 11 or an academic one? Academic CorelDRAW doesn't include VBA and hence Jigsaw Puzzle Creator won't work with it.

If you hit Alt-F11 in CorelDRAW, what happens?

Hello Alex:

It finally installed. For Corel Draw 11, you have to keep CD 1 in the CD-ROM drive while rebooting your system to complete the installation of Visual Basic. I always took the CD-ROM out of the drive before I rebooted my system. Thank you for your prompt responses. Now I am going to work and evaluate Jigsaw Creator. Thank you again!
