Need help with Coreldraw 12
 

I am trying to fit C M R to path at the top of my object /shape centered and below the top line a little.
And I also want to fit S U D - O U E S T to a path at the bottom also above the baseline a little .I have been trying but things are not working right.I am not very good at using Coreldraw but want to learn.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you ,Gordon

My suggestion would be to draw two new paths for the text to follow, since your object looks to be a trace of a bitmap and has tons of extra nodes. It will make it work so much smoother.

Here is an example.
