Over 500 PDF pages to edit...PLS HELP ?!

Hi - i have over 500 pages of a Catalog to edit - what's the easiest way to standardise the background to a single colour ? Note: the images have their onw background. See attachment.

So, just to clarify, you have a bunch of images for the catalog and you need to make sure all of them have the same background? Or you have a PDF already and you need to edit the images?
