Speed up printing

I am using CorelDraw11 on a Win98 machine printing to an Epson Stylus 900 (the older version) via USB. I am printing sublimation transfers. I have resampled any images down to 200 dpi and set my printer to 720 resolution. It may take up to 3 minutes to print a 8x10 image. Is there a way to speed things up???
