this is the first part of my problem.

hi, i was trying the tutorial for the Sd x4. reached upon the stage with triangle: first trimming woked perfectly: BUT immediately after from step 27 to 28 I got nothing, no trimming works.

this is the first part of my problem.

second part of my problem is that when I try to create a gillioche in between of the two previously created squares(as curves) it does not allows me to do so...
please help/

I am assuming you are not trimming correctly. Based on step 26 if you move the right angle of the triangle from the lower left to the upper right and select your two objects in the correct sequence it will trim perfectly. I had this trouble until I reread the directions slowly. You'll get it!

Can you explain your process on this one. I have created two rectangle objects and created a pattern between the two. 1) Created the constrained rectangle. 2) Clicked a corner node (while holding the ctrl key) and then right clicked inside the rectangle object. 3) Started SecuriDesign Pattern macro and viola it was created.
I also did it by 1) Creating a constrained rectangle object again 2) Converted it to curves (Ctrl-Q) then followed steps 2 and 3 above the same.

So I am just curious as to how you did it and it is not creating one for you.
