is there any way of determining the state of snap as the command toggles on-off, is there any other way to turning on-off

HI.
If you need it for a certain function then some of the functions have it as a built in parameter, like getUserClick.

when i am in node edit mode I want to turn off snap to object and when out of shape tool I want snap to object to stay, I know ALT+Z is the short cut.
but I am using "1" key to go to shape edit mode so i simultaneously want snap to object be turned off

Hi.
What about some event code for selection change?

Code:
Sub changeSnap()

    If ActiveTool = cdrToolNodeEdit Then
        'turn snap off
    Else
        'turn snap on
    End If

End Sub
