A couple of days ago I installed Draw x3 and I am having some "bug"-like problems.
The first is that the eyedropper for color sampling doesn't seem to work at all. Clicking left has no result and right click (which should give me a context menu for how many pixels I want to sample ) gives me a mini-context menu for "Undo Ctrl Z". ???? The second is that bitmap editing opens up another copy of Draw and not Photo-paint. ??? (I even tried "Edit bitmap . . ." in the newly opened Draw window, just to see what happened) but as you can imagine, that just gave the program a nervous breakdown. In the meantime I'm copying back and forth from the clipboard, not an elegant solution but it works more or less. Anybody got a suggestion? I'm about to go back to Draw 11, it worked right. |

CorelDRAW Eyedropper pic color, and object properties. You should select the right option in its property bar. If you open the Color Docker, you will see the color you pick there too.
Open PhotoPaint, go to Tools/Options/Filters/Associate, and associate CPT files with Photo-Paint. Disable CPT association in DRAW. Regards |

![]() ![]() I am now a very HAPPY person. I followed instructions and now EVERYTHING WORKS RIGHT! Thank you, thank you! I feel like an idiot, I've been using Corel since Version 4 and I should have figgered that out. Now I have another question, but I'll start a new thread because the subject is completely different. Once again, THANK YOU! |
