Change styles throughout entire document

Hi All,

Has anyone tried to change the size of a paragraph text style and see it change all occurances of that style. I have about a 50% success rate. Some times it changes sometimes it fails.

Although when I change the style color it always changes.

I simply right click for properties of a given style and edit it's font variables. I need to change to occurances to limit the number of pages in a document.
