Default Wacom Intuos3 Tablet

I just recently purchased a Wacom Tablet for use in CorelDRAW 12. I have noticed some strange this happening. The cursor moves around the screen when hovering over the tablet surface, but as soon as you touch the tablet surface to "Click and Drag" the cursor does not move.

Does anyone have this same problem and is there a solution?

Already tried that. was on the phone with Wacom for over an hour yesterday and they are turning it over to their QA people. The tech said they might have to report the problem to Corel and have them work on it. The problem only happens in Draw.

did you upgrade your corel12 to SP1? maybe this will solve it...
maybe there are extra drivers for your previous mouse (some logitech/A4tech,genius) drivers, then delete them...

Problem is fixed. I already had sp1. the solution was to revert the Wacom driver and only launch the application with the stylus and not the mouse.

Also, was having a problewm with pressure tool in artistic media not working. This was fixed by going in to PhotoPaint and calibrating the tablet. Searched help files for pressure and found a was to calibrate. After doing this, the pressure tool worked in draw.

Unhappy Didn't work for me!

Here I thought you were the answer to all my problems! I have Draw 12, Intuos 3 and the pen absolutely freezes when the tip hits the tablet. Clicks up a storm, however. And it works elsewhere. So I'm still looking for help (Downloaded a v.9.0 driver, by mistake I think, but that didn't do anything either). Wacom told me yesterday that it's a Corel problem. Until Intuos 3, never had a problem.
