I have CorelDraw 9 and a script that when finished, I want to save the new file in the same location as that of the original document.
At the moment I can get the filename but the save is always to the folder that the script is run from. How can I find the full pathname of the current document (which is already open when the script is run). |

Hi.
Is the script big enough that we can see here? If it can be modified to open the file then use save as then you can use CurDir. This would be a good workaround. -John |

I have attached the file (remaned to .txt from .csc)
The idea is to be able to open afile that I want to process, run the script, then send the newly modified file off for printing. The `Save As' function remembers the document folder so the information must be in CDR but how to get at it? |

Hi.
I took a look. Setting the path is easy through different ways, but I can't find a way to get the path of the current open document using the corelscript9. Shelby or Alex might know. PS. I did notice the script saves to the last directory you saved a file. -John |
