Photo-Paint 11 Automation error ...

Hi Folks

Has anyone else noticed that the ole automation object for Photo-Paint 11 cannot be created using Corel Script (ver 8) unless PP11 is already running? I can easily call PP8 even when it's not running, but I get an 'object cannot be created' error when I try the same with PP11 -- yet, if I first start PP11 and then try again, it works fine.

Is there a work-around for this, apart from having to launch the application ahead of time?!

Sorry for the late response. It looks like a registration issue.

Ok, I just have looked into it and here is the problem:

In HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{ADC6B001-88DF-4F68-9D4A-7187B16E86B8}\LocalServer32 which is the class ID for CorelPhotoPaint.Automation.11 the server name is set to "C:\PROGRA~1\Corel\CORELG~1\Programs\CORELP~1.DLL" which should be

"C:\PROGRA~1\Corel\CORELG~1\Programs\CORELPP.EXE"

If you fix the path (replace path to DLL with that to CorelPP.exe, it should work OK...
