About the node reduction. Is there any way you think you can reduce the node count manually? I mean, what would you do to make the curve less complex by using CorelDRAW tools? If it can be done using mouse and keyboard, chances are it can be done through automation. I just don't know what you expect the simplified curve to look like.

Also you don't have to create a new thread each time you post. It is much easier to follow a conversaion if all the related posts are in the same thread. Just hit Reply button while reading the thread to add your post to it. We can have more than two messages in a thread, you know

And one more thing, could you use normal character register, try to avoild ALL CAPITAL letters, because it is much harder to read? Use normal capitalization. Some people even consider ALL CAPITALs a form of shouting and impolite.

Thanks.

I don't know much of using charter.
I just want to creat a new puls-in which can creat a lot of curve!
just more than 10000000.
if so some of the curve must look like very well.
and it just be on.
but you had done it in the secridesign!
it can creat much more beautiful curve just by enter some numbers!

so i just want to creat a program using other methord.

but i have no much idea

so how can i do ?

i have to get some example .

and just know corel draw is very easy to do it .
so i try to use it .

may be you can use other coodinary to creat the much beautiful curve.
this is my suggestion .
but i really suggest you to build your own engine!

so it can looks like a program.

by i don't know how to creat the vertex class .and can display it in a new
program.
do you know.
or using the corel draw dll file?

Lees,

Sorry, I didn't understand much of your request. Maybe you can try to describe exactly what you are trying to do in more details. Maybe it'll be a bit clearer...

One thing I can tell you, that you cannot use any of CorelDRAW's dll just to link to your stand-alone applications. Using COM is the only way you can talk to the EXE... It can't be used as a back-end graphics engine.

You can create 10 million curves with VBA, but I'm not sure how much time/memory/disk space that would take.
