How to import values from a file, replace text,save file for each value with new name

I have an Excel file, containing about 1000 different 4-digit numbers (of cource i can convert it to a text file). Abd i have a corel draw file - template, where text with such number fitted to circle path.

What I have to do: to make 1000 different cdr files with different numbers taken fron a file and fitted to a path like in the template.

As i understand, i need somehow to read these numbers from a file one by one, and with each of them i have to replace the sample text, convert to curves, save a file with new filename and again take next value from a file.

I am a novice, and any advice will be helpfull

usually this is done via File->Print Merge.

(I subtly remember that one of the ways to succeed is to export to .csv)
