Default Filling Freehand Objects

Hello, I'm new to Coral Draw and have a quick question. I am easily able to use the fill tool to fill a simple object like a square or circle, however have been unable to fill a free hand object. In other words, lets say I use the line tool to create a box....how do I fill that box. I tried grouping and combining the lines, and it still won't fill with a specified color. Like in Paint Brush, if you create a box using just lines (not the box tool) and use the bucket fill, it will fill that object with one simple click. Seems simple, but I just cant get it to work. Thanks in advance for your help and understanding my level of expertise.

Default

you have to close the path - a bit more than just grouping. select image, select Arrange menu, select Close Path and choose the appropriate one.
