Hi,
It coul be cool a tool who break apart in pieces an Object who contains a gradient fill (fountain fill). The number of pieces of the broken Object is the equivalent of the number of colors steps. Is that doable? ---------------------- also / or it is doable a tool who be able to create automatically a Palette Color who contains all colors of the selected Object with a gradient fill? Thanks |

Guru_Boy_CDR,
What about turning it into a bitmap & then doing a trace on it? johndankey |

johndankey, that way is a bit long, no?
I have created for example a square, I have apply a Fountain Fill of 5 diferents colors at 32 steps. When I ’Create a Palette from Selection’, DRAW only recognise the 5 colors, not the all 32 gradient colors of my object. |

Guru,
Yep. Depends on how bad you want it, huh? ![]() I'm still thinking for your example of a rectangle, that it would be easiest of all to do a blend. johndankey |
