Default how to insert a character CHR(216)?

I need to use a character that is the sign of diameter (it is the circle crossed by the line). I did it by using CHR(216). Now, in corel 12, it doesnt work - it shows wrong symbol. I think its because of "the complete unicode support". How can I fix it?

How can I use my old codepage in this case? Or how to find the caracter code which i need in unicode?

Make sure your system code page is set to Western, such as English, French, German, etc.

If this doesn't work, then use VBA's ChrW function which creates a character using its Unicode code, rather than ANSI. Here is an example:

Code:
Sub TestTextDiameter()
    ActiveLayer.CreateArtisticText 0, 0, ChrW$(216) & " 12", Font:="Arial"
End Sub
P.S. You also need to use a font that has this character, obviously.
