Default Imort Tif- X3 Crash

Hi folks;
I often use Photoshop to remove the background on images and then save the result as a Tiff with transparency preserved. I the import this into Corel Draw. In CD12 it imports fine, but the X3 program closes totally when trying to import the image.
Does it need to be prepared/saved in a certain way for X3 to accept it.?
Thanks for any help.
George

I've got no problems with importing tiffs saved in photoshop as I always use photoshop to remove bg also. Try to turn off preview in import filter dialog or drag your tiffs directly between windows into your coreldraw document

Default Import Tif

Thanks for the responses.
Problem only occurs when importing tif which has transparent background which was removed in Photoshop. One of the following occurs:
1. X3 shuts down immediately upon trying import
2. Get I/O error box
3. Blank import
If I keep trying, eventually I get an "Out of Memory" message and X3 shuts down.(I have 1 GB)

No problem importing PSD files
Weird

Also turned preview off-still crashes. I would attach the one of the tif files but too big to post.
Thanks

Try resampling your file in Photoshop to a manageable size, verify that it still crashes CorelDRAW and attach the file to your post here. Someone will take a look to see what could be the problem. You might want to also ensure that you save the TIF with LZW compression to make it smaller...
