My random objects module has grown. It now has three scripts:
- Random Objects takes whatever object you have selected and randomly places, rotates and either shrinks or expands a given number of copies in the area you specify.
Random Movement takes the selected objects and moves them randomly according to the parameters you supply.
Random Color applies a random color to the selected objects between two colors you supply.
The random objects script has several improvments over the last release:
- -The error that once occurred in the German OS does so no longer.
-Form remembers its last position.
-"no overlap" percent is more intuitive. Now, 100% is the exact size of the object
-Gridding (was called "steps") can have different x & y values (rectangular rather than square grid).
-Multiple objects can be randomized together, either sequentially (first, say, a square and then, an ellipse) or alternating (square, ellipse, square, ellipse...)
-Rotation can be done in steps (e.g., every 15 degrees).
-The script will now retain your original objects.
-The "match to" shape is no longer grouped (which resulted in it being brought up to the front).
-The European standard (commas instead of periods for the decimal) is now supported.
-and lastly, it will run slightly faster (up to about 50%), as it no longer uses copy/paste.
See it at

It runs on Draw 10 and 11.
Please let me know if you have any ideas for
improvements.
Thank you,
