Default VBA does not work with my CD 10 !

Hello,

I have corel draw 10 and I am trying to use VBA. When I try to start the editor, draw says that VBA is not installed. But it is! Excel can launch it for example.

Do you know a way to tell Corel Draw that the installation is correct?

I tried to use the setup program but VBA is not a the list of the available components.

In fact, I am a beginner in VBA and perhaps my problem could be solve with a simple (?) corel SCRIPT. I want to convert automatically into straight lines all the curves of all the bezier objects that are present in the document. Could you help me to write such a script? I found a script template called "object cycler" on the oberon web site, it could be a good start. It looks for all the objects in the currently open document in CorelDRAW and calls ProcessObject subroutine for each of them. I have now to write the ProcessObject subroutine. That's my problem...

Cheers.

First of all, Excel and CorelDRAW use different instances of VBA. If one has VBA, it doesn't mean the other has it too. Are you sure you don't have an academic version of CorelDRAW? Because if you do, VBA is not shipped with it and you can't use it, even if MS Office or other VBA-enabled applications are installed. It's a licensing issue and there is no legal way around it.
