Default Best way to Close a form

I'm running into an odd problem. I have a form that I display modelessly. If I close corel after this window has been opened, an instance of the coreldrw process stays active as indicated by the task manager.

I can call the unload statement after the window closes, but the corel process stays active regardless.

Whats best practice for managing the lifespan of forms?

Hmm. Am I the only one that has encountered this phenomenon?

I haven't seen this and I do some crazy stuff. If you want me to test an example for you let me know, you can private message me if you like.
