Default Space Selected Layers Evenly

So I want to set up a macro that spaces all layers selected evenly horizontally.

I recorded a macro but it records the exact number of layers I have selected, so when I run it on a different number of layers it cries.

Any suggestions?

Default Objects...

To space objects evenly you can use the Align / Distribute found under Arrange. Click the Distribute Tab and check the Spacing checkbox. Press Apply. All objects are now spaced evenly.
