Is it possible, to use .abr brushe files for Photoshop in Photo-Paint. And how?

Thanks for any help.

Hey vallentin I was looking for info on creating grunge brushes in/for photopaint and came across this thread.

I don't think you can use .abr brush files from Photoshop in Photo-Paint. If there are .pngs of the brushes distributed with the .abr file you could convert the brushes for use in Photo-Paint.

In my searching I came across something that said you can change the .abr extension to .jbr and the files can be used in Paint Shop Pro. (Whether that's true or not I do not know). I doubt you could do something similar in Photo-Paint as there appear to be two file types related to brushes, .nib and .msk. I have yet to find detailed information about their relationship and/ or editing/ creation. If anybody can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
