Default VBA Script for CD 11 - Selecting objects with same color

HI!

I often make films for printing, and have to separate for every color.
I want to write or perhaps somebody already have, a script which
selects all objects with similar color like the object is selected, when
starting the macro.
I know there is a function in CD11 but i always have to go through
the menu which takes too long. And there it is not possible to
select colors, which are not in the palette.

Who can help me?

Thanks.

Not to date myself but that Find/Replace was the coolest thing I'd seen on Corel since Corel 3s "Copy Properties From". I do mechanical seps too, and it used to be "tab tab fill tab fill". So you have it good. Trust me

I will be working on something like that soon but not the way you described it. Do you have a fixed palate of colors you use or is it different every time?

Default Different Palette

The Colors are not in the palette.
Can anybody tell me a URL where to learn the basics of VB?

A couple things. Palattes are creatable and editable so they're more flexable than face value. Most things in Corel are fairly flexable. There are 2 books I would suggest. The Corel Bible (whatever it's called now days ) just so you can get an understanding of corels more advanced features. Without some of these features Corel VBA would be less than a blur. The other is "VBA for Dummies" by Steve Cummings. There are other good VBA books out but unfortunately none for Corel Draw specifically. That's a drag but it's doable with a basic understanding of VBA as a hole and the help files provided with Corel's VBA. The dummy book is helpfull. This site is a great wealth of info too!

Good luck
