Default Draw 12 : Printing Problem

Hi, in the attachment file, you will find a CDR file.

In DRAW 11 the printing is perfect,
but compare it with DRAW 12
and also with DRAW 12 SP1.
(compare all these 3 differents printings!)

Vector or Images with contains gradients doesn’t print correctly.

Even if it’s made with Interactive Transparency tool,
or a already gradient bitmap.

The printing result a kind of blurry effect
only in the gradient area,
exactly where something is under of it.

I have tested that on 2 differents computers,
with Windows 2000 sp4 and the other with XP sp1.
And also tested with 2 printers:

1- Epson Stylus Photo EX, with PostScript
2- HP LaserJet 3500, without PostScript

Do someone have the same problem?

Thanks
Hernán

Hernán,

Did you forget to attach the file you wanted?

P.S. Sorry I couldn't get back to you on the other matter of ours as I promised. I'll do this shortly (if you are still interested in my assistance, of course).

Hi Alex,
the file was too bigger (more than 100k),
but now, I have simplified it.

- Images with gradient also doesn’t print correctly
in the gradient area, where something is UNDER of it.

I have tried for example an image with gradient
( 50% to 100% transparent)
to be able to see ( ... and print) the hairlines under of it.

-------------------------------------------------

The second file is .clk (R.A.V.E.)

Powerclips is useful to create masks.
But doesn’t work at all in the .swf file that R.A.V.E. creates.

-------------------------------------------------

P.S. No problem Alex,
Yes, I still interessed very much!
Just let me know when you will have some spare time.

Thanks and Regards
Hernán

Default printing transparencies incorrectly

I too have had trouble with transparencies not printing as displayed on screen in CD12. when tiling them and then mirroring them. If I go back to CD11 they print correctly. If I convert them to bitmap or export to pdf they also fail to convert as mirrored. Corel said they could not reproduce this problem so it was likely a printdriver issue, but since in also happens on conversion I suspect something else. I keep going back and resetting every option I can find but no solution yet.
