Program won't put objecs around an oval

Just bought program. Using CD12. Trying to get 44 objects to fit around oval. Program puts it in a oval that is not bound by my path (oval).

I am checking by centers and rotate objects with curves.

HELP ME here.

You can get good results with the blend tool.

Look at the file and see. There is an excellent tutorial about how to blend along a path at clicknlearn.com.
