hi,
have this problem: I have the same problem with CD12, like with 11 and 10 version. Have install .icm for printer. Have set up document as CMYK. Colors are in CMYK. On screen colors looks same, but the same document on print is totaly different, is there some problem with convetring to CMYK in CD or what...??? Color management is set to Adobe RGB -> HP LaserJet 4650 .icm for printer -> Samsung .icm for screen . Of course colors printed by AI are the nearly the same like in Pantone matching system book... what set up in CD 12 to have real colors... thanx a lot... |

Are you setting Corel Color Manager with same profiles and settings in Illustrator? Are you using Adobe Gamma? If it is the case, then use Adobe Gamma profile for your monitor and not the Samsung one.

maybe when you print in corel 12 it has [x] Apply ICC profile on Misc tab in print dialog?
anyway in Tools->Color Management you may choose your printer, double click the printer icon and setup manually profile that will be used to manage colors for printing on specified printer. note that I use another way (and it often speeds up 100x times printing process when I use corel transparencies e.t.c.) - I convert the whole page to raster image 400 dpi or another way: Print dialog->Misc tab-> Rasterize entire page 400 dpi |
