Copy to Adobe Illustrator Macro

Hi, just stumled across this extra CDraw stuff tody by accudent. Some interesting automation / productivity tools.

Most interested in the Copy to Adobe illustrator. Two questions...

Firstly, do I need to install the Visual Basic util.

Secondly, from the screenshot and the text, I assume one can copy a CDraw graphic into the Clipboard in AICB (Adobe Illustrator ClipBoard) format. If so, does this mean, that InDesign CS can edit such graphics in the smae manner as it could as though Illustrator had been used in the first place...

I'm using CDraw 12.

Yes, you will need to have VBA installed but it is installed by default with CorelDRAW 12 unless you did a custom installation and explicitly refused to install it.

Yes, after copying objects from CorelDRAW you should be able to paste them into InDesign directly.

Love to see flash export added to this list...

Wish I had this utility in the days when I still used Pagemaker.
