Default Missing Vba coding options

Suddenly vba isn't offering me options when I type code. Usually these spring up after typing a "." I've checked under options and Auto Syntax Check, Auto List Members, Auto Quick Info and Auto Data Tips are all checked. How can I get the options back as creating code without them is very time-consuming and error prone.

Thanks,

Chris (Hunt)
