Question Scan-Script

Hi!

I have come here with a small wish. May I ask here for a script, that can handle the twain interface to scan a picture in B&W and save it as gif?

I can't find anything helpful for this task...

Default Scan

I don't believe scanning is currently supported via VBA, you might be able to do it with a number of SendKeys, but it would be specific for your scanner.

Does this mean that I can't scan within a macro or a script?

I read about "You can get access to the necessary functions via API calls within VBA code. Those APIs are stored in .dll-libraries..."

But this seems much too complicated for a little spirit like me :-(

Default Scan

It means is may be possible, but I would need to know every keystroke you do because it would be specific to your scanner.

Does this mean YOU would try to write a script for me, if I tell you the keystrokes?

I have defined a favorite scan mode which can be loaded via some mouse clicks and then start scanning. Are this the needed keystrokes?
