Default Adding an info box to all drawings

Hi All

I want to be able to add an info box to all new drawings so I can have client contact details and other information such as vinyl colours (for signmaking) etc.

Is there a way I can do this automatically or do I have to import a pre designd box into each drawing as I create it.

Hope this makes sense

Default New Drawing

Please post a CDR of a file with the box that you would like and were it is pulling the information from. Also what version of CorelDRAW are you using. Thanks,

Hi Shelby

I am using X3

I would just like the label in the attached file to be visable when I create a new drawing.

At the moment I import it but I don't always remember so it would be cool if it could be there automatically.

Could you use this label as a template for all new documents? then maybe it would be easy to save it as CDT coreldraw template in C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 13\Languages\EN\Draw\Template\FullPage.

it will appear automatically in file->new from template.

or assign a key to this macro
sub templateLabel()
   application.createDocumentFromTemplate "C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 13\Languages\EN\Draw\Template\FullPage\drawing label.cdt"
end sub
this macro will create a new document from your label saved as CDT in coreldraw.
You may use any path in Application.createDocumentFromTemplate, but if you will use standard path then your label will be visible in new from template wizard

Cool, just save it as a template and it works fine.

I should have thought of thet really but I just over complicated it in my mind

Thanks again
