Default Resolution settings

After opening a file with a resolution of 72 and copying the background, I paste it as a new layer
I change the background to layer and set the resolution to 250 and save the file

ActiveDocument.SetResolution (250)
ActiveDocument.SaveAs(Filename, cdrJPEG).Finish
ActiveDocument.Close

On reopening the file, I remark that the resolution is again 72 ???

What is going wrong? Thanks for the help.

Default SetResolution

Using X5, the file comes in as 250dpi, of course the size has changed ;-) If you want to keep the original size you would need to adjust for that.

Default Resolution settings

I work with X5
I open a photo.
I check the resolution with Image, Resample
The resolution is 72 dpi
Then I change size and set a resolution of 250
I save the photo as .jpg
When I open the saved photo and go to Image, Resample I expect to find the corrected settings but I find again the 72 dpi (and of course with an other size)

Thanks
