Default Photoshop Clipping Path

Hi,

I am designing a catalog however the photos have a background, for
example the pictures are of shoes but i can see the table the shoe is
sitting on and the background behind the shoe, is there a way to cut
the shoes out in Photoshop so the background is removed?

Thanks

Um, there are MANY ways to do that in Photoshop, but since you asked likely the fastest an easiest would be the Quick Mask mode - just press Q, draw over whatever needs to stay with black ink and when you are done press Q again - it'll turn into a selection and should you press Delete everything outside it will get deleted.

Or you can just draw a path using the Pen tool (P) then Ctrl-click on it in the Paths menu (near Layer menu), invert the selection and delete.

If something is unclear I'd suggest consulting Photoshop help/manual on Quick Mask or the Pen tool.
