Default "Object too complex" error

Hi all,

I have several scaned and vectorized building plans that I import into CorelDraw. For every plan i have several curves that need to be welded (grouped on layers, so I don't have a problem finding them) so I can reduce their nodes.
I wrote a VB macro to do that, but on some plans I keep geting the "Object too complex, Exceeds 64k bytes" error. Now, I really want that the weld is made, if possible, or else just leave the curves like that. I have a "On Error Resume Next" directive, but I'm still getting the error message (and in a a big file I have to press OK 100 times or more. Embarassing, huh!).
How can I disable that error message from appearing, so the program can continue normally?
