Talking Australia Day moved!

For some obscure reason, the Australia Day holiday has suddenly transferred itself from January 26 to February 26. While I'd like an extra holiday in February, I don't think the boss is gonna stand still for it...

Could you please advise how to fix this (in the .ini file, for preference).

Also, there's been a thread running about improvements to the WIzard - is it ever going to happen? It seems to be awful quiet on the upgrade front.

Sorry for the late response. Apparently nothing has suddenly jumped anywhere The Australia Day has been marked as being on Feb 26 from the day one. Apparently this is a mistake of some sort. I must have gotten the wrong information from somewhere or maybe entered it incorrectly.

Anyway, to fix the problem, do the following:

1. Launch Calendar Wizard

2. Go to the Language tab

3. Click the Edit... button in the Language Presets area next to the Language listbox.

4. In the Edit Language Presets dialog, select "English" in the Languages list and "Australia" in the Locales.

5. Click the Edit... button under the locales list. You will see the following dialog:

6. Click the Edit... button next to the Events label

7. Select the Australia day (marked as Feb 26), click Edit

8. Change the month from February to January

9. Click Ok to close the dialog. Close all other dialogs.

10. Now back in the main dialog of Calendar Wizard, make sure you have English and Australia selected on the Language tab.

11. Click Apply button to transfer the locale preset data to your project

Now everything should be Ok. Please let me know if you still have any problems.

Thank you, Alex - that seems to work okay. By using the same steps, I've been able to delete all the holidays that don't apply in our area as well.

Is the trick that you have to do all of this stuff before you hit the 'Apply' button, so that it saves it to the ini file?

I had already deleted all other countries - I'm not likely to be doing calendars for them

By the way - all the calendars I generated for this year had Australia Day on January 26!

Now... what about the update to the Wizard?
