Hi, Folks,
I am a longtime Draw7 user - mostly mechanical drawing and demo graphics. I upgraded to X3. I have found it a good change. When I click on the zoom tool on the left side toolbar, I am used to seeing the plus and minus tools appear on the top toolbar. X3 has been doing that until recently. Whatever I did, I somehow disabled that feature. I have tried to change the top toolbars to regain that feature, but I have run out of ideas. I have enabled toolbars that seem to have the feature. I have tried to just add the command, but I can't find it. I have opened old CDR's to see if I can get the feature to work so I can check the properties, but it always opens to the current settings. Whatever I did, it sure seems like a guy with 15 Corel years should be able to figure it out. But, not me..... What can I do to regain the settings I am used to? Thanks, John |

You need to get the Properties bar back. You can do this two ways.
Reset Corel, exit out hold the F8 key on the keyboard and restart CorelDRAW. Continue to hold the key until you get the message from CorelDRAW are resetting. Say Yes and you are all set. Or go to Tools and Customization, on the new menu select Command Bars. Put a check mark in Properties Bar and select Reset at the bottom of the menu. It should be back now. Hope this helps. |

Thanks so much.
I have been playing with this for about a month now. And I had no luck. I did what you suggested, and it is back where I feel at home. Have a nice weekend. Thanks again, John |
