Just one finding - if you open the code in vsta editor and then start debugging you can debug without a need to compile the solution. Thought it may be helpful.

Because of a bug with VSTA (see coreldraw.com/forums/p/26019/123237.aspx) I stopped using VSTA and switched back to VBA macros. Recently I got a new PC with Windows 7. Now VSTA works, but I do not have the time now to migrate my VBA macros to VSTA. cu, guido |

I can see it is an old thread but I would like to receive help on the next issue:
I use CorelDraw X5 on Windows 7. I only now discovered VSTA editor and I tried a test application. I can launch a window form and do whatever in Corel, but I am able to do that only in VSTA environment in debug mode. I found the compilled dll (and pdb...) but I do not know how to use that directly in Corel. Should I register the dll? I tried to simply put it in the folder 'C:\Users\Me\Documents\Corel\VSTA\CorelDRAW\Addins' but for nothing... How should I use it even if it is started at Corel startup? Thanks in advance!
